The trail network behind the app is built from OpenStreetMap. Under the Open Database Licence (ODbL) our derived database has to be shared under the same licence, so here it is.

Where it comes from, and what to be careful of
- Trails, tracks and tags: © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL.
- Elevation-derived fields (
gain_m,loss_m,max_grad_pct,kind): in England from 1 m Environment Agency LIDAR, contains Environment Agency information © Environment Agency and/or database right, used under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Elsewhere from global terrain tiles, which are coarser. - Grades are estimates. Do not rely on them for safety. Fix mistakes in the source map at OpenStreetMap.
